Sex, Sexuality and Therapeutic Practice:  Workshop for therapists.

Sex, Sexuality and Therapeutic Practice:  Part One - Body, Behaviour and Identity

This CPD event will cover a brief overview of the psychological and biological components of sexual identity, gender and sexual acts. Although I will incorporate some clinical examples, the event will draw on an experiential perspective in which participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own area of knowledge as well as their beliefs about sexual practices, roles and identities.  It is hoped with a deeper understanding therapists will feel more confident in addressing these issues, opening conversations and exploring areas of difficulty with clients.
