Running for 30 sessions (3 blocks of ten). The next block of sessions are: 26/03; 02/04; 09/04; 16/04; 23/04; 30/04; 07/05; 14/05; 21/05; 28/05.
Where: Glyn Wylfa, Castle Road, Chirk, North Wales. 9 minute walk from Chirk Station.
Focus is to support development of reflective skills and also provide emotional support on the journey to get onto training
The concept for the group is to have a specific discussion topic each week with either academic or clinical focus. My plan is for me to initially bring relevant material and then as the group progresses use the material group members bring.
All are welcome to the group however there is an explicit invitiation to people who have experiences of being in marginalised groups when trying to get onto training. For example: people of colour, disabled people, people that identify as LGBTQ, people who have a religous faith, people who identify as working class, people with lived experience of mental health problems. There is an explicit invitation to men to attend.
Venue is now onlione using the ZOOM online platform - on booking in I will send you an invitation link for you to use.
£5 session. The fee is towards the room cost - as the group is not for profit. Please do contact me directly to book in via email, facebook or twitter etc if this charge makes attending prohibitive.
If you would like to join the mailing list regarding the group please contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
