Alongside working with adult mental health difficulties, I specialised in working with a range of sex related difficulties: vaginismus, dyspareunia, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, anorgasmia, anhedonia, sexual confidence and compulsive sex behaviour.
I work with adults who have been sexually assaulted in childhood and/or in adulthood.

I have nine years of experience working in Social Services and the NHS. This includes for three years working in severe and enduring mental health services in South Wales and for three years as Principal Clinical Psychologist in HIV and Sexual Health and also CFS/M.E. at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. I have ten years expereince working in private practice.
I am a Clinical Psychologist.
Therapeutically, I have a strong preference for systemic, narrative therapies and psychodynamic models, as they allow for greater understanding of the complexity in situations and as such improves formulating ways to understand and care for pain and trauma.
I am trained in EMDR .
I have a foundation qualification in group analysis and am currently training to become a group analyst with the GAN. Whilst sometimes nerve wracking to join, groups are a very powerful way to heal emotional wounds.
I have additional specialist experience in working with people who live with physical difficluties and/or illness such as CFS/M.E. and chronic pain where medical knowledge is insufficient. I am happy to provide psychological support to individuals, couples and families living with these difficulties.
I am a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Individuals, couples and families from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds welcome. All genders and sexualities are welcome.
